NOTICE: Property taxes dues March 15

The County of Prince Edward reminds taxpayers that March 15 is the deadline to pay 2018 interim tax bills for all properties.

The municipality mailed out the 2018 interim tax notices for all properties on Feb. 15, 2018. Failure to receive a tax notice does not absolve the property owner from any taxes due or from penalty charges for late payment. If you did not receive your tax notice, please contact Shire Hall at (613) 476-2148 ext. 1530.

You can pay your property taxes:

• In person at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street)

• By mail, cheque, or postdated cheque

• Telephone/PC banking

• Pre-authorized payment plans

• Online through The County website

Additional information is available on The County website or by calling (613) 476-2148 ext. 1530 or emailing tax@pecounty.on.ca.

E-billing now available

The County of Prince Edward now offers electronic billing services for its property tax customers.

The e-bill will include the same information as a regular paper bill. Billing dates and available payment options will remain the same.

If you are interested in going paperless, please complete and submit the registration form.
