NOTICE: New traffic control measures at Wellington boat launch

The County of Prince Edward is instituting new traffic control measures at the Wellington boat launch (151 Wellington Main Street) this weekend and on Canada Day.

Boaters launching a motorized vessel must go to the staging area at the Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street).

A County staff member at the staging area will tell boaters when it is their turn to launch their boat.

All vehicles and trailers must be parked at the staging area.

This process will be in place from 8 am-4 pm on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 as well as on Wednesday, July 1.

Non-motorized vessels can be launched at the Wellington Beach boat launch.

Boaters can also launch at the Mabel Kleinsteuber Launch (1260 County Road 12) as well as several other boat launches in the County.
