The Museums of Prince Edward County have five affiliated volunteer groups, which promote and give support to each of the County Museums. Are you looking to join a group that is passionate about local history and artifacts or interested in exhibitions and special events?

Friends of Ameliasburgh Heritage Village

Opportunities: Develop a "settler persona" and bring to life one of the many historic buildings on site; learn a heritage craft; participate in the planning and presentation of special events and educational programs; greeting visitors at the front desk; handling sales from the gift shop; or preparing and serving heritage recipes in our Tea Room.



Friends of Macaulay Heritage Park

Opportunities: Give guided tours at Macaulay House in 1850s costume; learn a heritage craft or hearth cooking; participate in the planning and presentation of special events and educational programs; taking admissions and handling sales from the gift shop; care of heritage gardens; participating in the "adopt-a-plot" program to conserve the historic graveyard on site; assist with artifact cataloguing and exhibit development.



Mariners Park Museum Partnership Committee
