 Our Communications Policy

The County is committed to maintaining open and proactive communications with our residents, businesses, and visitors. In addition to print and radio advertising, News Releases / Public Notices, and this website, The County uses social media tools to communicate and engage with our stakeholders. The County's use of Social Media is guided by a Municipal Social Media Policy and Guidelines.

It is the policy of the Municipality to encourage transparent and proactive communications with stakeholders, which includes using social media to provide an accessible platform to the public about issues relevant to the Municipality.

While we strive to monitor our Social Media accounts on a daily basis we do not have full time staff dedicated to the maintenance of these accounts. If your inquiry is urgent, please contact Customer Service.
