Community Grant Program Committee

Duties and Functions

To address the requests from local community groups/organizations for financial assistance and/or in kind support (through waiving facility fees or staff services) in a transparent, fair, and equitable manner;

To review and evaluate requests based on criteria outlined in the Community Grant Program Information and Guidelines;

The Committee would recommend the successful applicants to Council not to exceed the total budget allotted.

As required.

Membership

The Committee shall be composed, as follows:

  • Mayor
  • Three (3) Members of Council
  • Community Development Department

Appointment

For the term of Council or until reappointed.
